Ken Strong Stadium seats 5,000. It has artificial turf and is lighted for evening games. Ken Strong Stadium is the home of the Blue Devils football team, boys' and girls' soccer teams, and the boys' and girls' lacrosse teams. Ken Strong Stadium was built in the 1960s with a natural grass field and a stone track. In May 1989, Ken Strong Stadium reopened after a $3.08 million renovation, which included a new sand-filled turf, a drainage system, lights, a running track and a scoreboard. After 12 years of use, the turf had to be replaced in July 2001 with Astro Turf.

On June 22, 2009, the Astro Turf was ripped out and replaced with a new state-of-the-art infill synthetic turf. The field was ready September 1, 2009.

Ken Strong Stadium is host to:

  • CIAC boys and girls lacrosse championships
