Welcome to West Haven High School!

Mr. Cavallaro

Messages from Superintendent

Updated May 5, 2020

Cap and Gown info--Senior Parents,
Pickup for cap and gowns will take place on June 4th at West Haven High School. Cords for those who have earned them will also be handed out. We ask that parents follow the schedule below to avoid traffic issues.
Last Names A-F (in vehicle) 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM
Last Names G-N (in vehicle) 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM
Last Names O-Z (in vehicle) 11:00 AM until Noon
Walkers- 12:30 until 1 PM
We ask that students write their last name large and legibly on a piece of paper to hold up to the car window. We can then notify those pulling the packages for hand out that you will be coming down the line as we anticipate heavy car traffic. This will also minimize contact. In the interest of pedestrian safety, we ask that 12:30 until 1 PM be reserved for those without vehicles.

Governor Ned Lamont today announced that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, he is ordering in-person classes at all K-12 public school facilities in Connecticut to remain canceled for the rest of the 2019-2020 academic year and continue providing distance learning during this period.
