Connecticut SAT Spring 2018

All juniors will be taking the Connecticut SAT. This is also a regularly scheduled Early Dismissal day for teacher professional development activities. There will be a special schedule in place to accommodate optimal testing situation for juniors. Juniors are asked to bring a #2 pencil, a graphing calculator (if they have one), and a snack,

  • Freshmen will be in assigned classrooms and the auditorium for a speaker and movie.
  • Sophomores will be in assigned classrooms for CAPT Science Prep and the auditorium for a CAPT Science Assembly.
  • Seniors will be participating in a Senior Experience, which will count as attendance for the day. Seniors who do not participate in a Senior Experience will be marked absent. To comply with federal and state statute, participation is required.  Please note that both the CAPT – Science and the Connecticut SAT will adhere to all federal and state privacy laws, including but not limited to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

 

It is very important for all students in Grades 10 (CAPT) & 11 (SAT) come to school well-rested and prepared to do their best on their respective testing days.
