Graduation Ceremony: June 7th at 3:45 pm on the football field. (June 10th Rain Date) 

  • The stadium gates will open at 2 pm. 

  • Traffic will be heavy, and parking will be limited, so please plan your arrival accordingly. Overflow parking will be at the Italian American Club located at 85 Chase Lane. Shuttles will run from the IA club to the high school from 2:30 until 3:30 and will begin return runs immediately following the ceremony until 6 pm. 

  • Traffic will be one-way with entry on Platt Avenue. 

  • All bags will be subject to search, and all attendees will be subject to wanding by metal detectors. Please do not bring large bags or unnecessary items. Items that block the view of those behind you will not be permitted. There is no smoking or vaping allowed on school grounds. 

  • Graduates must arrive at the West Haven High School auditorium no later than 3 pm.

  • All graduates must wear the school-issued cap and gown. Gowns must be zipped at the front. Seniors may decorate the top of their cap. No inappropriate language will be allowed. No modifications may be made to the gown. No flags, stoles, etc. may be worn other than those issued to student groups by the school. Students who do not follow this dress code will be directed to correct the issue. Refusal to correct the issue will result in exclusion from the ceremony. 

  • Each student will be given nine tickets. There will be no additional tickets available as that brings us to stadium capacity. All attendees over three years of age will need a ticket.

  • Families of the Top Twenty graduates will receive tickets to sit on the field in front of the stage. The Top Twenty Graduates will be invited to sit in the front row. Band and chorus members who plan to sit with their respective groups should notify their teacher.
