KhalilWest Haven High School is proud to recognize senior Khalil Kabila as a West Haven Rotary Club Student of the Month. Khalil has maintained a 4.5747 GPA and ranks 24th out of 455 in his class. He has earned induction into the National Honor Society and received awards such as the Frm. Commissioner Mullins' Youth Leadership Award. He also participated in the HOBY CT Youth Leadership Seminar and graduated as valedictorian of the EMT program.

Throughout high school, Khalil has taken on leadership roles in Student Council, Track & Field, Model UN, the Muslim Student Association, Science Club, SAVE Club, Red Cross Club, HOSA, and Peer Advocates. He has guided teams, supported peers, and contributed to the life of the school in meaningful ways.

Khalil is deeply committed to serving his community. He coaches youth track & field, manages the girls volleyball team, volunteers as an EMT, and participates in activities through the SAVE Club. He is motivated by the idea of giving back to the community that raised him. Seeing people who supported him in his childhood now benefiting from his efforts brings him a sense of fulfillment. He believes even small acts of volunteering can make a meaningful difference, and knowing that his contributions can help others inspires him to continue serving.
