WEST HAVEN, Conn. – On Wednesday, April 27th, West Haven High School hosted a ‘Signing Day’ for the 10 seniors who have committed to playing a sport in college. It was the first time that WHHS held such an event, which took place in the all-purpose room of the high school.
Co-athletic directors Mike Anquillare and Joe Morrell arranged the event, and invited family and friends of the student-athletes. The 10 student-athletes were first introduced to the audience and then posed for photos with their coach and/or family members while pretending to sign a national letter of intent. At the end of the event, the student-athletes posed for more photos with their family and friends.
