The WHHS Campus Connections Tour recently visited the University of Rhode Island, Roger Williams University, Salve Regina University, Brown University, Bryant University and Clark University!

Are you looking to earn your Master's and Teacher Certification in just over a year? We are excited to partner with Quinnipiac University and offer this exciting opportunity to our staff!
On March 27th, Quinnipiac will be hosting a session at West Haven High School from 1 PM - 3 PM. Staff members may drop in and attend during their work day. Please RSVP by March 22nd by emailing stefania.larry@whschools.org to secure your spot. The session is open to any staff member looking to further their education!


West Haven High School has a new partnership with the Greater New Haven Chamber Workforce Development Program and yesterday, juniors and seniors sat through presentations in the new lecture hall for the first phase of a four-phase program. The presentations that students listened to yesterday were from Sara Kernizan of Yale Health (Healthcare), Ashley Anthony and Luis Cruz from Times Microwave Systems (Manufacturing), and Orlando Yarborough, a program director for the ConnCats Biolaunch training program. We’d like to give a big thank you to all our guest speakers, as well as Anne Benowitz, who oversees the Economic Development and Workforce Initiative through the New Haven Chamber, for setting up the presentation!

Congratulations to senior Taylor Alfano on the girls' ice hockey team on being named a Second Team All-State selection!


Students in all of the health classes recently took part in an interactive presentation from our West Haven Prevention Council and Bridges Program on healthy and unhealthy relationships in our school's new lecture hall!




Congratulations to Brian Oliver (first picture) and Jelani Clarke (second picture) on being named Blue Devils of the Month for February‼️



On Saturday, March 2nd, 10 members of the WHHS Student Government / Interact Club performed community service by volunteering at the Dr. Seuss Read Across America book giveaway sponsored by the WH Rotary Club. Scholastic Publishing donated many books that were distributed to West Haven elementary school students. The event was held at the Masonic Lodge on Center Street.
