On Wednesday and Thursday, West Haven Public Schools hosted its new teacher orientation to help our staff acclimate to their new positions and the district. We are thrilled to have our new teachers join us and we look forward to the year ahead. Welcome to West Haven!
A huge THANK YOU to Taliyah McGee (far left) and Tiana Dyson (far right) for helping the West Haven High School Cheer Team for the past 3 days! Taliyah, a West Haven native, is a cheerleader for the Boston Celtics and Tiana was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. The two professional cheerleaders taught the cheer team a dance, a halftime performance, a hip-hop performance, a pom-pom dance, and a tumble.

Attention ESY families!! During ESY, The Eli Whitney Museum visited our students 3 times to create huge bubbles and bubble prints. On August 17th and 18th from 10:00-1:00 at the Eli Whitney Barn, our students' work will be displayed. We hope you can join us!
The Westies on Wheels backpack and school supply giveaway will be held on August 19th from 11 am until 1 pm at West Haven High School. All West Haven Public Schools students are eligible to receive a backpack and school supplies while supplies last.
