Six Debate Team members from WHHS competed in a competition at Yale University last Friday, February 9th, organized by the Yale New Haven Debate League which included several area high schools! The sophomore class council celebrates Valentine's Day!
Congratulations to Chyanne Matheney, a WHHS student in Mr. Laydon’s Freshman English class, on recently winning a writing competition and receiving a ‘Talent for Writing’ certificate! Chyanne is now a finalist in a Young Writers creative writing contest and will have her short story published in a book called Hunted - Chasing Daylight. The book will be available for purchase in April. Chyanne’s story is called The Woes of the Prey.
