Elma Puglisi of West Haven started a fundraiser for West Haven High School. She requested personal hygiene items to help support students in need. Dubel's Cafe was kind enough to let Elma use their customers and facility to help with this fundraiser. Today, Elma came to the high school with a cart FULL of products that will be used to benefit West Haven students and their families!
๐โจ Our amazing teachers have been hard at work, getting their classrooms ready for the start of a brand-new school year! From decorating bulletin boards to organizing supplies, theyโre creating welcoming and inspiring spaces for our students to learn and grow.
Last nightโs new parent orientation at West Haven High School was a huge success! ๐ Families got to connect, learn, and explore offerings from the district, as well as local organizations. We are thrilled to kick off this school year with such a strong, supportive community!

On Wednesday and Thursday, West Haven Public Schools hosted its new teacher orientation to help our staff acclimate to their new positions and the district. We are thrilled to have our new teachers join us and we look forward to the year ahead. Welcome to West Haven!
A huge THANK YOU to Taliyah McGee (far left) and Tiana Dyson (far right) for helping the West Haven High School Cheer Team for the past 3 days! Taliyah, a West Haven native, is a cheerleader for the Boston Celtics and Tiana was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. The two professional cheerleaders taught the cheer team a dance, a halftime performance, a hip-hop performance, a pom-pom dance, and a tumble.
